My dad, father-n-law, brother, and I are thinking about heading to ND for a hunt next year. Since we are driving 26-28 hours and none of us have hunted wild pheasants or waterfowl before we would like to make the most of experience and go through an outfitter. I know that it can be done ourselves, but for our first trip we would like to have a decent chance at success. We have a couple of young pointing dogs that have been on ruffed grouse and we will take them to a preserve a couple times just so they have seen pheasants before we come out, but we probably won't want to rely solely on them. If any one could recommend a outfitter/lodge/guide that does both upland and waterfowl I would appreciate it. We are looking for a 3-4 day hunt.
