Not a good start to winter

Was really hoping for a turn to some warmer weather in January, but ... more of the same.

ND and northern SD are getting absolutely hammered and the winter is shaping up to be one of the worst on record for pheasants anyway.

MN is not much better, especially on the northern edges of the pheasant range ... which has been very good lately .. both in productive hunts and spreading out hunter densities ...


Looking like the % of time will be higher in the grouse woods next fall. :) & :mad:
 
I think so too, the hill tops are blown off here and they seem to be picking on those, the flatlanders might not fair so well though. We are suposed to be 30 above Sunday. But this morning was 27 below with out the wind chill.
