Some time ago I bought two German doubles at the same time. Both were built in the Merkel plant during the GDR era. Foolishly I let a buddy talk me out of the 12 bore Simson with it's english stock and kept the little Geco 16bore. The 16 has been my faithful partner for some time now, but I kept remembering that 12.
Recently he told me he didn't shoot it much and a deal was struck! It is back home to stay.
Hopefully I will get to show it a big ol Kansas rooster this fall, I KNOW it's gonna see some Arkansas ducks with a little Bismuth no.4.
