Lodging miles city and billings

Finally the maps are in!

A couple buddies and I are coming to explore birds in October, for about a week. Probably splitting time between these 2 towns as they look to have full services. Any recommendations for motels that are dog friendly?

Any other towns we should be considering?

I'd also like to know about lodging in Miles City. I'll be spending a night there on my way to the NSTRA Purina Endurance field trial in Lewistown. I'd like something cheap and clean.
 
Miles City is a regional Hub.
I 94 goes through. You will see most of the National Chain type Lodging.
US 12 exit has 4-5 motels, there are a few of the old style one level types to.
Lots of dog friendly Motels in MT.
The way they do it is to charge 10-20 bucks a night per dog.
Sorry, Don't know which to recommend.

Forsyth is between Miles City and Billings. There are several Motels there. The US 12 exit going North has motels and a couple on Main Street.

Billings has LOTS of lodging of all types.
