Late season hunt recommendations

I have hunted the Aberdeen area for the last couple years in mid December. We always see lots of birds but they can be spooky and flush far away (but that's late season hunting right). Aberdeen is almost the lowest in numbers of birds in the report.


I was wondering if there is another part of the state I should consider hunting but I only hunt public land. I don't need anyone's spots, I'm just looking for recommendations.
