Huron hotels

I will be staying one night in Huron in a few weeks. What hotel do you recommend? Any of them allow pets, have area to clean birds? Thanks in advance.

Not the best, but OK.

Has indoor bird cleaning area.

restaurant and bowling alley in the same parking lot.

And continental breakfast.

Can't recall name of it but we stayed at mom and pop motel there about 10yrs ago. He claimed to have bird cleaning area. He did a flipped over washing machine in alley. It never got above freezing on that trip, not good place to clean birds with no lighting either. Hotel itself was clean. I'd ask specific questions on bird cleaning area.

I always call to confirm hunting dogs allowed. Some websites are not updated (either way). Seems like many places now upcharge $10 - $20 for dogs in the room. Call during the day so you get the manager / owner and not a night clerk ...

In hunting country ... a cleaning station is critical to keep feathers from going down drains. Some people just don't care.

Thanks for all the replies. I booked a room at the Dakota Inn. I just couldn't resist staying next to the world's largest pheasant.
