Just curious...haven't heard any reports on the pheasant hatch this summer and how the numbers look. Any input would be appreciated.

Yes! even though there is a net loss in habitat, seems like at least in the Northern pheasant range, Spring and weather looks pretty dang good for pheasants. :cheers:
 
Yesterday I took some cattle to a native pasture that had not been grazed yet. I kicked up a hen and 8 little ones that were the size of partridge. I am of the opinion that we will have more birds here than last year.

Thus far it seems that way. I've been hearing some good news out of parts of ND too. At least the (good) signs are there for now.

Road counts should be out at the end of August. We're getting there:cheers:
