Hello everyone,
Just looking to gain from other's knowledge here. My dog has a ulcer in his cornea that has developed from a scratch while hunting and it is healing pretty slow. The vet said to give it a few more days with some new medicine and if that doesn't work we will call it a non-healing ulcer and a Grid Keratotomy will have to be performed.
Has anyone had to have these performed in the past and what was the cost? I just want to make sure that if it goes that route I am getting a competative quote and don't need to get a second opinion. My vet also said that he doesn't want to complete the procedure and will refere me to a specialist.
