I grew up hunting pheasants in Iowa. My brother and I would hunt ditches for 50 miles on the way to my aunt's house for thanksgiving dinner. Due to knee and back problems I don't hunt any more.

I do have a cottage in Platte, SD available for rent to hunters and fishermen. Platte is 25 miles south of I-90 between Mitchell and Chamberlain. Just 15 minutes from public lands on Lake Francis Case.

I will post a thread in the SD forum about it.

Welcome Karpntr!! I hear ya on the knee and back stuff!! I am not giving up yet on hunting pheasants with my back problems. I may just get one field in, but I can't let go!! Hope you join in often and heck even tag along on some hunts if you can. Best of luck!!:cheers:
 
Welcome to the forum. I drag my crunchy knees and old back around some walk-in patches in SW NE some years before the KS season opens.
