this past week i was in bemidji where i visited BSU i am from CA and i am now in love with Minnesota. we slammed some Northerns on some secret lakes. i had a blast.

i know the fishing was fun but when does the hunting start. in order does anyone have dates for the season openers, i want to visit again i just don't when is best
 
Bemidji, is in the middle of some of the best Ruffed Grouse hunting anywhere. with public land in every direction. State forests and national forests.
Good waterfowl and deer too.
You will have to go about 200 miles to Pheasants.
You don't have to keep Northern Fishing lakes a secret. Northers are in every lake and not difficult to catch.:cheers:
 
It is beautiful up there. But as said the good pheasant hunting, is a bit south. You need to get down in the area I am or south. Now when you find those dinner plate sunnies let me know and I'll join you.:thumbsup:
