When I was a kid my dad and I were hunting around Milford lake and came across a big, long legged Brittany with no collar on. Stopped and asked every hunter we saw and put an ad in the paper as well.

Nobody claimed him so in the kennel he went with the Labs. We appropriately named him "Milford". He hunted with us until he died of old age.

Hopefully the one you found will be reunited with its owner. But, if not I am sure it will have a great home!
 
I don't have the dog its in Kansas I am in Georgia

I just was putting out that someone found the dog... in case anyone is looking for him.

That is very nice of you to to this length of trouble to have a dog reunited with it's owner. I have lost a brit a time or two, and it's the worst feeling not getting them back.
 
lost dogs

both of my boys are chipped, but the one time one of them took off, this is what worked. I order collars with there names and my cell phone number on them. A farmer called me on my cell as I was looking for the dog.
