Flushing & pointing

Hi
I have a 3 year old lab that I have been pheasant hunting
With since she was a pup.She is pretty good at it,for only hunting
Wild birds for 10 days a year
This year I have a new pup and she is a pudelpointer and I am training
Her with NAVHDA.
My question is since I hunt mostly my my self or with
One or two guys,does anyone in this group ever hunt
Both dogs at same time?My lab has a major hunting drive
I don't know if I could have her respect a point and not Just bust in and flush.

I have a 6 yr old Lab that has been whistle trained to sit& is steadt to wing & shot. Planning on using her along with my French Britt pup. Will sit her on the point, shoot the bird, & then rotate the retrieves. Now to see how that works !!

I bet there won't be many birds get away from you and your dogs !!! , post some pictures if youn get chance

I hunt my flushers with pointers. If their dog goes on point I call my dog to heel and let them work the pointed bird. I think it is a workable solution.
