The cattails are rubbing the corners of my dog's eyes raw. Besides taking the next couple days off to give both of us a rest (MEA weekend), what would you do for these raw areas?
 
Aside from a mild eye wash product or Vetericyn-Ophthalmic gel which I've used for dry irritated eyes, I would consult your vet for cuts around the eye. You don't want to be putting anything around the edges of the eye that if it gets into the eye will burn or sting or worse.

Dogs face

Anyone have any tips on protecting dogs face during hunting? My springers face(nose, eyes) get beat up from 3 or 4 day of hunting. Anyone rub vasoline or something else on?
