east of wellington?

I am colorado native now live in ks just wondering if anyone hunts birds out by wellington i went dove hunting out there and saw pheasant forever signs looks like they are trying to make an effort to for habitat

have been out that way..

I have never seen any birds out there... they have the areas, good cover, but never a pheasant have we ever kicked up.. I don't think the food.. no corn, can support them..

I let some go out here and leave my field total grass, and there are some from great guns left overs but the hawks and yotes take there toll we need a massive infussion of them in order for them to repopulate, although i did see three sets of chicks this year,,,
