Early pheasant reports from the harvest are very positive. Talked to two farmers in the area we hunt in SW MN, and they have both started on corn, and both farmers said they are seeing pheasants everywhere. Very encouraging!

I drove to Grand Forks, ND this afternoon and between St Cloud and Fargo a whole lot of combines were in the fields harvesting beans. It was extremely dusty.
There could be a multi-day rain event coming in this weekend. Potentially inches of rain. That is going to put a halt to the harvest for a while, but we need rain badly.
