Corn still standing

Made a run to the KS border ( hwy 40) and noticed a lot of corn has not been
harvested . I think the fields are to wet. Also the sand burrs are everywhere.
Better get the dog boots out. Saw a few birds at a distance.:cheers:

From what I heard from farmers in the Yuma area, the rain was really spotty. One farmer told me he had 1 field that produced 54 bushels and acre but another field just 2 miles away that produced in the 70's. Did see several fat pheasants hanging around the unpicked corn. :cheers:
