I saw a brood of 12 huns today, and they were almost as large as the parents. I good sign in my book. I also saw a nice brood of ruffed grouse in the mountains the other day. I haven't seen a pheasant brood but that isn't uncommon for me this time of year. Oct will tell that story

I won't be long now....:D
 
You made my day. I am making my first trip to Montana this October.
Want to get my dogs into some huns and sharptail, as we do not have any of them here in KS.
