I'm heading down to the Chamberlain area from far northern Wisconsin on Sunday with my 2 boys and a group of fellow firefighters. We usually stick to the interstate and always use to hit Cabela's in Mitchell but after finding SoDak Sports a couple of years ago that's been our go-to stop for ammo and last minute gear etc. Problem is they will be closed before we make it there on Sunday so I'm contemplating taking the scenic route through Watertown and Redfield to show my boys where it all began. Anyone have any suggestions on best route or places to stop for gear or food or whatever?
