spoke with landowner south of aberdeen.
they are losing lots of birds. said this next season is going to be tough unless we have a tremendous hatch.
they saw 20+ dead pheasants near a cattail slew. Don't know if coyotes or other predators pushed them out.
They are also seeing more coyotes than ever. but they are sending them to the great hunting ground in the sky
sure hate to lose all those birds to the weather.
a 5-8 bird limit would have been a lot more fun, but thats another thread.
