Baby pheasants

My dad was out at my farm in Finney County today. He said they saw some baby pheasants in the road that could barely fly. Maybe some of the hens pulled off a late hatch when the weather got better. I have seen them several years opening weekend without any color. I have been mowing road ditches and have saw some awfully young quail around here also. I saw a bunch that could barely fly just like the phez dad saw.
