You might get some more wear if you apply Tuff Toe. Moreover, Tuff Toe reduces the drag of cover. A shoe repair shop can restitch them. Tuff Toe would "repair" that too.

I'd put them in a shadow box in your den, near the wall of fame. After all, they were your hunting companions for years and never failed you. Maybe oil them up, and list the estimated mileage.

I've still got a pair of Irish Setters that carried me for years. Old friends which never let me down.
