My son Jim and I went out for our annual Thanksgiving hunt. It was cold (18), but not too windy.
I was able to limit and Jim got 2, but lost one, hate that.
Addie did well, very happy with her!
I used my ugartechea 16ga 1030 and Jim his V.S. 12ga 3EC
Very good day, especially hunting with my son.

Hey all, not a bad day, but not great. The roosters today just wouldn't hold point, run and flush wild, typical. Didn't see as many as I thought I would, oh well.
Did get a scotch double on Huns....much to my surprise!
Used my 12b J. Blanch with those nasty Damascus bbls
Addie did as best she could, happy with her.

I don’t own any, but they’re quite popular…
They sure can if the bbls are good and you use low pressure loads

Look at RST for shells…or ask Greg what he might suggest…

Make a trip to your gunsmith, have him confirm no checks or dents in the barrels. You might have corrosion and thin barrel walls . Be safe!

Hey all, good day today. Went out solo, just my 10 year old Raina and me.
Saw plenty of birds, but some were getting spooky. Raina was a able to pin down the ones I got.
The weather is absolutely beautiful. 40 out, low winds and sunny. Very odd for North Dakota in Dec! Lord, keep it up!
Used my 12b H&H Royal today.

Great photos, thanks for the report!
Hey all, went out today after Mass. Didn't have a lot of time, but made the best of it. Saw birds today, but some flushed wild. Addie would hit point, up they went, so didn't hold point.
I did manage one and so did my son Jim. Jim had to go early, so I hit another spot. Birds were wild again! I did manage a lone grouse, odd for this time of year.
Anyway, good day with my son and my Addie.
I used my 16b Charles Hellis today.
