JMD if you are talking about the reserve hunts you should always put in for them. You will get a property all to yourself. Most have lots of pheasants on them. I'v sat and watched two sets of hunters work a couple of those areas up in Benton Co and they flushed dozens of birds and in one case close to if not more than 100. My buddy got on one last year and invited me. The local guys I know in that area told me it was the worst one that Indiana has. We saw 4 pheasants, 3 hens a one nice cock that my buddy missed clean.
I do quite a bit of quail hunting south of you around Rushville, Shellbyville, St. Paul. Last season wasn't too good but when we've had snow we have had some really spectacular days (at least for us).
