Hi Grouseman. I have hunted once many years ago in SW Kansas. I would have to go the pre-season survey to see what was predicted for SW.

I do most of my Kansas hunting in NW and the bird numbers are quite low after years of drought. Maybe we are seeing a few more birds but overall it is really quite limited. Good luck and let the forum know how it went. Good to hear from you.

Nope we hunted Ulysses and Jetmoore area. Birds were real spooky and no wind. They had the advantage for sure.
