The few weeks before season opens, what are you doing to past the time?

Mtn quail has been open for almost a month, no quail in my mountains this year but the dogs and I love the high country. Valley quail opens this weekend and then pheasant season in a month. If gas drops below $4.50 a gallon I might take a trip up north to real chukar country.:cheers:

Reloading, shooting, scouting, sharpening knives, shooting, packing my containers and going to the Doc's, trimming dog nails and cutting hair between the pads. One Bull Elk hunt before bird season! Hope to have season supply of Slim Jims!!!!!!!:thumbsup::cheers:

I dont do anything to pass the time. It already goes by too fast to begin with.

When you get to a certain age, you wish it would slow down a little
