Mowed and raked hay yesterday. Had to stop several times for bumble bee size quail to run out. Actually left some strips despite the bitching from my father in law. Had to stop 4 different times. So paranoid that I got off and walked around making sure nothing else was in there. Hopefully they make it past the bailer! Most of them were next to the road though. I think they were just out looking for bugs. It was very pleasant to see. This was just a 20 acre alfalfa field too.
