So with gas prices being what they are, this Fall I can afford gas or motels.Not both. So I'm looking at a slide-in camper for my truck. Only problem is I know nothing about them.
I've already decided against pop-ups and pull-behinds. I've done some research and know how much I can safely carry. What I'm hoping is someone can tell me some good brands to look for, what to check for when inspecting old, used campers. Any deal-breakers?
Also any additions or modifications that you really like. Any advice on shopping for and buying an old camper and goodones to look for would be most welcome! Thanks!
