* at 429 PM CDT... a severe thunderstorm was located near speed... or 8
miles west of Phillipsburg... moving southeast at 30 mph.

This is a very dangerous storm.

Hazard... baseball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... people and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
Expect shattered windows... extensive damage to
roofs... siding and vehicles.

those hail storms hit the Stockton area almost every year.

Just lovely! I hunt around the Speed and Logan area. Couldn't have dead centered it any more than that. It ain't been good for 3 or 4 years and this couldn't have helped any.

Not a good feeling at all when these hail storms hit your honey hole this late in the season!! Hoping it was isolated, but it might have tracked quite a few miles. Hoping for the best!!!
