Quail Symposium in August

Just found this -- ninth quail symposium, Springfield, MO. Looks interesting, with some actual science and open forum. Might be worth attending, with all the heavy hitters in the quail community.

Got it on my calendar! Not sure why we haven't got any notifications in our chapter about that yet but I'm really excited about it!

I'm sure hoping to go. I've been to 2 before and a fella can sure learn a lot from these researchers.

oh well, forgot all about it. was kinda pricey just to go watch. did anyone attend? i just read nick prough's article in the habitat guide from the quail and upland wildlife federation. new federal wildlife restoration programs, imbalance of predators, quail nesting much later in summer than previously thought, partially disturbed native grasslands.
