I finally got drawed after 20 years of trying will have to say DNR has the field that was 150 acres set up nice. You can always go to shooting preserve but not the same. We had a good day hunted about 5 1/2 hours. It’s just a shame there is not more ground around know matter which way you looked nothing not a fence row drain ditch nothing. We seen about 7 pheasants and 3 nice Covey’s of quail took about two out of each covet got a lot of nice dog work could have killed a lot more quail. Just wish there was more public hunting spots like in other states. All in all good day and good to know there are sone wild birds still around. If we don’t have a terrible winter should be better next year.
