Pheasant and Duck hunting near LINTON ND?

anyone have hunting experience for Phez/Duck near Linton ND.? coming to hunt this season from Ohio, looking for a good combo area. Maybe a one day guide for both species anyone you would suggest?

I would suggest freelance. I think you are out the potholes a little for the ducks but that should be a good pheasant area.

Im not familiar with the geography of the state, but I have often heard the term "pothole region". Which part of the state is this refering too?
 
The easiest way to tell is go on google maps and change it to the satellite view. Where you see tons of small wetlands that is where the ducks are unless there is a drought.
 
Linton ND is close to the Missouri River, not really pothole, but still some.
Decent waterfowl hunting all through that area. Lots of public accessible land near the river. Pheasant hunting where there's proper habitat is VERY good.
Most of the Prairie pot hole duck factory is N, NW and NE of Linton.

Thanks I like the idea of hunting the waterfowl zones because I will only be there for a week, but I want to hunt where ever I have to bring a Pintail back with me.
