Got back from Lake Powell for a three day fishing trip. Man oh man the water was low. However, the fishing was really good. Caught lots of crappie, walleye and lots of big bluegill. The weather was a mixed bag, warm and sunny, cold and rainy. Now I just need to get the sand out of all of my gear.

Artificial or live bait?

We used two baits the entire time. One is called a Maniac Minnow that you can get on line. The other was a small tube jig. No live bait at all. I had exactly two of the tube jigs and ran out quickly. I have never even considered using a tube jig down there until this trip, but from now on it will be one of my go to things to try.
