New guy from Redfield SD

Hey I'm Stefan. I grew up in Redfield SD but currently live in Sioux Falls SD. I do all my hunting in Redfield.

My first and current hunting dog is a 2 year old German Shepherd. YES I SAID GERMAN SHEPHERD! I got him training as soon as I picked him up. His first year of hunting he was 6-7 months old. I didn't expect much from him being his first couple hunting. But he picked up every bird and brought it to me. Pictures to follow of course.

I am also a HUGE Skeet shooting fan. I shoot in Sioux Falls weekly and back in Redfield when I get a chance.

I've been creeping this forum for awhile and finally wanted to give my input. Hope to make friends and learn a lot.

Back in the 70s my Dad had a Lab Shepherd mix and it was an awesome Pheasant Dog. Good to see you hunting with one. If the Dog hunts I don't worry about his papers.

Welcome and thanks for posting the pics. Great looking dog and obviously quite effective in the uplands despite having been bred to run and protect livestock. He just looks very smart.
