Need a britt pup immediately

Crossing shot

New member
Had to retire my 14 yo close working britt. Trying to find a female britt pup now so it will be ready to go next season.

Any help would be appreciated.

Facebook has dedicated pages where litters are announced as well as pages for Brittany's. You can search the web to see what breeders are out there. I have had good luck with Nevene Kennels out of Illinois. I have had three dogs out that kennel. Good luck.

Thanks for the responses. I checked Facebook yesterday and found nothing. That litter in Nebraska looks promising. I actually need two pups so range is not an issue.

Is your 14 year old Brittany your first ??

Trying to figure out why there is such a sudden rush.

Most of my Britts have been born in January or February and do OK by mid October and have come along fine by December ... and I am not sending them off for the summer nor have is used the services of a professional trainer.

and now two at once ?

Why not start one every 4 - 6 years ?

I have had 8 britts. Usually I have two dogs about 2 years apart and I try to get a pair every five years. That's the plan at least. My current hunters are a 9 yo britt that likes to run and a 9 yo Gsp that was rehomed twice. He's a handful. Neither are too interested in retrieving as I have never expected them to do so. Lost a rooster and a quail this week.

I need a dog for next year. I always hunt with a runner and bootlicker. I need a bootlicker now. A dog I can usually see when hunting. However if a good deal comes up on a runner, i would be interested.

Was hoping a guy with a good dog wanted a pup and would have some to sell.

Nice looking pup Brittman, who are her parents, we may have sisters only a couple years a part. I have never had a dog from Nevene that didn't retrieve and my current Britt is a retrieving fool.

I love KSBrittman's dog. She's the reincarnation of my dog Summer. Love to have one. They do not list prices on their website. Tough to spend that kind of money right now. I assume over a grand.

If you are referring to Nevene Kennels and pricing, the last time I inquired last year the price for a pup was 700 regardless of sex.

I just put a deposit on a pup from Charles Willard. I don't believe any of the others have been spoken for. My son is meeting me in Louisville the 21st to pick her up. PM me if you want more details.

Britt Pup

Big Red Brittanys in Pierce NE, good dogs, I have a 5 year old male good upland dog, plenty of drive, shot at least 300 birds over him in the last 5 1/2 years. Good luck
