I just bought this a few weeks ago. Not sure what I'm all planning on doing with it, but I'll slowly work on it.

Nice pickup! My rig is a sh*t brown '98 S-10 Blazer, but it goes as fast as I can get away with on the interstate and everything works despite its 279,000 miles. I'm hoping it will be my first vehicle that I take to 300,000 miles.

Nice truck, I had one about like that. 350 got a good 10 mpg.
18 gallon tank, I couldn't pass a gas station.
Hope Yours does better.

It won't. Those 350's sucked it down in the 70's and 80's. I have a 97 gmc sierra with the 350. I am up to about 14 with it:)

I wish mine got 10 :(. '73 k5 custom, 454, 4 on the floor and 35x16x15 boggers... 4mpg and a 32 gallon tank.

My 05 z71 will get an honest 20 on the highway and about 17 through town, thats fuel efficiency.:D

Mine was a 72 K5 Blazer. What a pain.
Did end up with over 200,000.

On my drive about last week. Empty box HD 3/4 ton diesel Chev. I got 21.9 on the trip. Lots of side roads and seldom over 65 MPH. Sometimes a nice tail wind.

First time with Synthetic motor oil. Would that help on fuel economy?

Good synthetic usually helps a bit.

This is my baby. It's sitting in storage in the machine shed. It will never see a road salt winter.

1994 GMC 3500 dually 4x4 cab and half 454 V8 headers, K&N intake, 3" exhaust. It pulls my Featherlite 5th wheel livestock trailer. It's only duty, 4 draft horses at a time.
