I know it's not Pheasant...but

Not that I'm aware of. Just throw your quail thoughts out on this website. Pheasant, quail, and other upland birds are welcome in my opinion.
 
I agree with Chad just toss them at us. I am a good example we have good size covey of Mountain Quail here. With our declining Pheasant they are about the only game around. Our HUNs are declining also, so bird hunting is getting pretty rough.---Bob
