Hello all,
My parents were invited to go on a pheasant hunt with a friend in Kansas last January, they got into some birds and had such a blast that now almost a year later they own 3 GSP's and are looking to go several times this year. I have never been pheasant hunting but my wiemaraner and I have spent plenty of time chasing quail here in Texas. I am hoping that you guys can give us some insight as to how to go about getting started finding birds. We do not know any land owners in the pheasant world but we are willing to hunt WIHA if we have some hope to finding some birds, we just don't know where to start. We are about 7 hours from Kansas and are willing to travel further if we get some advise on where to go. I hope that we can get some direction from this forum, any and all advise is appreciated!!!
