Disabled hunter question.

A group of us are heading to SD next week to hunt on private and public land. One of the guys is a disabled Vet who can walk, but not for very long. He uses his Polaris Rhino to get around. How will that effect him when hunting public land and the Walk In areas? Can he use his Rhino in the Ft Pierre Grasslands, and is their a special hunting license for disabled persons? Thanks in advance.

JJ, regardless of feedback you get here I would strongly recommend contact the Game and Fish and get the official rule. Every type of land is different as far as public goes. No issues on UGUIDE private land camps.

This would be the best advice you can get. Call the GFP and get the proper answer.

Most public land (GPA's & WPA's) are posted with signs stating "No Motoraized Vehicles Allowed". Or something to this nature.

This site might also help.
