CREP may reach 100,000 acres

I took a look at a few of these sites out last fall. They look good, some are still very thin and need a few years to fill in with the warm-seasons. I believe in a few years these areas will produce some decent pheasant numbers:thumbsup:

indeed good to see that the acreage is going in the right direction.
These PF Biologists - are they full time with PF or are these side gigs and they have daytime/fulltime jobs too?
always wondered..

Basic break down;:)

Pheasants Forever biologists are full time, national PF workers are employees/work for PF, county chapters are made up of volunteers with some help from a PF (state) representative who helps volunteers with building a chapter, hold events, banquets, etc---IF NEEDED. Some chapter members are retired, most (from my experience) are still working.

PF biologists are a good thing for habitat projects (private, state, and federal), and expanding public hunting grounds within a state. Illinois gaining three more will only help us with our situation.
