Camping areas for pheasant season

I have a pop up camper and am interested in camping areas out east during pheasant season. I am tired of driving the 2 to 2-1/2 hours from Springs then driving back the same day. Can't camp on the walk-in areas obviously, so I was interested to know if others do this.

Not sure where you're hunting at, but there used to be camping areas at Tamarack Ranch SWA and there is also a campground on the northside of the train tracks in Holyoke. I think it is the Phillips county fairgrounds.

We haven't been out there yet, but our plan is to camp at Jumbo Reveroir this weekend. There are several state parks and SWAs in the area. North Sterling has electric and water hookups I believe. Hope this helps. Good Luck
