Bobwhites & Habitat

Just curious to know what kind of habitat you guys that have found bobwhites in are using? I've shot a few on accident while pheasant or goose hunting, but not enough to know what to really look for

appreciate any advise you guys can offer

When set up on a corn field that bordered the Arkansas River. They came strolling in

When looking for Bobwhites, look for areas that have a high number of forbs and also have some types of shurb component. These shrubs will serve as the covey headquarters. you probably caught the covey moving from there feeding area (the ag field) to some loafing grounds.
