Michpheasant, I too am from Michigan, I will be in SD Monday the 3rd. Will be south of you. First time out, will be staying in Madison, hunting Lake and Miner counties...about 70 miles east of Mitchell. When do you plan on being in SD?
We are heading out there during thanksgiving week..We hunt that week tuesday-friday..We usually hunt in Day County (city of Webster) on CRP land. We have seen a lot of birds during the mid 2000's, but not much last trip in the fall of 2012.
