I was just daydreaming about early season, and here's 3 pictures from that day. The first picture is actually after the hunt when the dogs were having dinner after they had just taken a swim in the lake. The water always is nice and clean by the time pheasant season roles around as the algae dies off and the lake clears way up. The swim really washes the prairie dust off the dogs. The second picture is the 2nd bird of the day to finish our MN public land limit. The 3rd picture is one that I have so many variations of, the dog or dogs napping after a day out in the pheasant fields. That was a really fun 3 day stretch of hunting and some of the best I've ever had. How do I feel nostalgic already and that was just 2 months ago.
