    REAL South Dakota 2021 review.

When in SD my son and I both averaged 18,000+ steps with one day of 22,000. Pretty easy to do.

    REAL South Dakota 2021 review.

Ok my son and I spent the week of the 25 in SD. This was our 3rd year out there. Hunting was hard as many of the CREP fields we have hunted in the past were mowed. We get that. Overall we had a GREAT time. Didn't see the numbers we had in the past but that is not all it was about. We do...

    Versatile Game Vest

I too have been very happy with my Chief Upland vest. Got it last spring and so far this season it has been great. Really like how the back game bag opens up to carry more. Except that my kid has me carrying all his birds.

    2019 Wisconsin pheasant report

Totally agree. In the southern part of the state there are spots where wild birds exist. Getting permission is not always easy but they are there.

What hunts are you planning for the upcoming season

Heading back to SD this fall with my son. Last year was our first time out there and we had a blast. Think we go like 12 birds in 5 days total but NEVER have we seen birds like that in the wild. Don't care how many we get again but can't wait for that "golden hour".

Choke tube selection for Kent Bismuth #5's 12 ga?

So my son and I are going on our first ever South Dakota hunt end of October. We have picked up some Kent Bismuth 12 ga. #5's in both 2.75" and 3". Neither of us has ever used Bismuth. We have used steel for ducks/geese and like the Prairie Storm for pheasants here in WI. Since we have to...
