    Your "Go-To" gun and why?

It’s actually a very lively gun. I believe the light weight and long barrels flow good for me. I tend to be a snap shooter and this gun seems smooths out , creating a better swing/follow through. It’s based on the Aurum platform but has a solid rib, nice wood and decent engraving. The action...

    Your "Go-To" gun and why?

I’m a Rizzini over under guy. I tried several attempts hunting with an auto loader and after many boxes of shells and almost as many misses, I’ve put those guns to the back of the safe. My 16 gauge Rizzini with a 28”barrel used to be my go to, but now I’m into the 28 gauge with 30” barrels...

    Shot Variety

Hunting with my Chessies, I get a variety of shot angles as well. They stay fairly close(still working on that with the new one), but sometimes blow past the bird and flush it on recall, sending it back towards me. When they pin one down that’s holding tight, seems like they tend to flush more...

    16 gauge

I have a B Rizzini in 16 that fits and feels really good. Plenty of knock down power. If I were to get another it would be a used model. I picked up a new one a while back and they have changed the stock somewhat. The one I own now is about 15 years old and has a nice delicate wrist compared...

    Antique road show

An old Francotte can be a nice gun. I was weaned on them until I realized I couldn’t shoot a SXS. Then I found an O/U 410 that I use for grouse and dove hunting that works really well for me.

    Report from NW

Hunted in that general area yesterday, birds were super wild! Pushed 4 healthy coveys and lots of educated pheasants. Best success was surprising them. Once they started running it was game over.

    Tail Length

Must have gotten that from a guy selling real estate in Florida? Ride that bus? Tail feathers don’t get that long unless they are state released. Low baggers hunting Gucci farms
