I know this isn't what your looking for but... An underused marketing tool is being a small/occasional breeder that has time to dedicate to the pups. I.E. raised in the house with the family etc. A breeder the spends a ton a time with the pups is crazy valuable to me. Heck the last 2-3 pups...

I have but I don't anymore, it feels a little to much like shooting a dog. Plus there are a lot of risks involved, for the gundogs and hunting companions.

They don't have a bad reputation, but also aren't known for being that good either. Tom was an ok trainer but is a marketing guy.... Your pup will be trained by an employee with the best dogs going to the most senior trainer not necessarily the best trainer. Usually the good trainers move on...
