I have ran 2 or 3 dogs at a time for the last few hunts so today I tried to stay in lighter cover and let 1 dog run out a little bigger.
About 30° with a slight 6 mph wind conditions were good but it's still dry.

Had many great points on hens and a exciting point on a rooster in the heavy sedge that ended 150 yards later with a wild flush in the brome. I threw a load of steel at it to no avail. I did bag the only other rooster I got a shot at.

Here is my Delio solid on a hen he over ran.20221127_150017.jpg

My son took a buddy out yesterday for a short time. His buddy never hunted pheasant before. They shot together on the trap team. Otis is a18 month old Griffon, he gets to hunt a lot. Otis locked up about 10 minutes into their hunt. Two roosters came up and they both dropped one.
