I use that too, but it’s an NSAID…as far as supplements, I use glycoflex 3, and have for years. Rimadyl can be hard on liver/kidneys, so I limit use to hunting trips, starting a few days prior…

I just break a rimadayl in half. Half for me half for the dog.

I started my 12 year old lab on the hemp and Glucosamine about a year and a half ago. Night and day difference. Only side effect is he wants to lay around eating Doritos and play video games occasionally

Nutramax Cosequin (daily), Susie’s CBD Treats (after hard hunts), omega 3 oil (daily), egg every so often. Was thinking of feeding glycogen after hunts. At what point do you add creatine and cycling EPO and testosterone? ​

I use Fido Vite sportz dog supplement. It’s got joint support, pre and post biotics, Omegas and vitamins and minerals all in powder you put on the dog food. A high quality dog food does wonders as well!

I used that stuff for my older lab. He took it daily for a number of years and it allowed him to hunt right up until he passed. He had a bad hip that was diagnosed at about 7 months old. That stuff was incredible.

I think he meant Deracoxib (brand name Deramaxx®). It is my favorite anti-inflammatory/pain med for the pups. My vet makes sure I am in supply for each season.
