Also there is a motel in Mott that was $90 per night but can be split with two hunters. They don't give any advice about hunting places. I did stay at a "lodge" near the Motel but the owner named Kimbell Parker, Flushing hills hunting club, has a questionable business model. (quasi-Pyramid scheme) and has charged hunters and taken them to PLOTS (Illegal to do so). He owned several properties there but has been trying to sell them off. Also His place is starting to get run down so we found a much better place. His lodge is next to one of the best PLOTS I have found.

Give it a try and if you are in ND from Nov 8 to 14, perhaps we can link up.

    Hello Justin,

I highly recommend hunting after the crops are down. We specifically plan our hunt on that. This year we are headed out on Nov 7 for 7 days of hunting. Your best bet to get started is to find a room at the Tailfeather Inn. For paying guests they have a list of places to hunt which are usually local farmers. Drive around and in a day or two you can have several places to hunt but don't expect to hunt for free, the farmers will all charge you.
PLOTS are hit or miss but if you go let me know and I can tell you of one that usually produces. I don't hunt it anymore because I now stay closer to Reeder.

It only takes one or two days to get dozens of phone numbers. If you like the fields, to be legally posted, they have to have the farmer's phone number. I highly recommend hunting with Double JJ outfitters but they are expensive at $200 per hunter per day but do some amazing lang management with farmers and it is worth the expense for at least one day of hunting.
