I just did this last year with a pup from Iowa Pointing labs. Getting ready to help a buddy when he gets his pup in dec. George Hickox dvds are by far the best. I followed it to a tee. My lab is now 18 months old. last yr in south Dakota she found birds and we shot them and she fetched and sat at my side till I said drop. His dvd did it, I have other books like game dog and dvds. p.s the quatering drills are awesome to teach the dog to hunt out in front of you
